Our locations
Machynlleth, Wales
HeadquartersMachynlleth, Wales
Known as the ancient capital of Wales, Machynlleth is a characterful market town set within beautiful countryside. It’s home to a rich tapestry of arts, culture and local business, as well as being a recognised centre for sustainable living.
Transport to Machynlleth is best by road or train. The train station is set within easy walking distance of our office. The main roads in are the A489, which runs from Shropshire to Machynlleth, and the A487 running up the west coast from Haverfordwest in the south, to Bangor in the north.
Stirling, Scotland
Stirling, Scotland
Once the capital of Scotland, Stirling is described as a wee city with a big history. Visually dominated by its impressive castle, it occupies a unique position as the gateway to the highlands, providing ready access to both the graceful lowlands and the rugged mountains.
Stirling is easily accessed by road, rail or air. Many major roads connect it with nearby towns, villages and other major cities across Scotland, while trains running from Stirling station get you to Glasgow within about 35 minutes, and Edinburgh in 50 minutes, where the nearest airports are found.
Inverness, Scotland
Inverness, Scotland
Set firmly in the Scottish Highlands, Inverness was granted city status in 2000. Its name means ‘mouth of the River Ness’, and its best-known water feature is nearby Loch Ness (complete with monster!) from which the river flows. Inverness also boasts its own castle and cathedral.
Set almost at the top of the UK, Inverness has its own airport offering regular flights to other UK airports, along with straightforward train links to all other parts of Scotland and the UK. The A9 is the main road into Inverness, and it takes about 3 hours to drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow to Inverness.
A cooperative and proud of it!
We are a Worker Cooperative. Our members elect the Board of Directors, attend business meetings and vote on resolutions.
All employees are offered membership after 18 months of employment. Prior to that, everyone has a voice and is entitled to information.
“I joined Dulas after many years in a large international consulting company, wanting to be part of a smaller, renewables focussed business in a beautiful part of the UK. I have found that Dulas is a company with an ethical and inclusive culture where everyone can have a say and have influence over important decisions. This part of Wales is certainly very beautiful – it offers world class outdoor activities and is not as wet as I expected!”
“It’s fantastic knowing that our work is having a positive impact on the environment and people’s lives. My role as an Account Manager for the Solar International team is both exciting and challenging; working together with technicians in-country, humanitarian organisations and key stakeholders around the globe. Our people focused and flexible work environment has not only given me the opportunity to develop my own skills, but the support to fit my career around my growing family.”
