Our Values and Impact

We do things differently to many.
As a cooperative, we offer equal opportunity to every member, but it goes further than that. We put the wellbeing of all over the personal gain of a few.

Ever since our founders set out on their pioneering journey 40 years ago, Dulas has been driven by a deep sense of purpose. And that makes for a better outcome to every project that we have to do with, because purpose powers perfectionism.

We focus on delivering renewable energy projects that offset carbon emissions and provide clean energy solutions. We are renewable energy engineers at heart and have the technical expertise to make enduring outcomes possible.

Our environmental values and impact

At Dulas, we are always striving to limit our environmental footprint and have a positive impact through what we do. So, without hesitation we have committed to the UN Race to Zero campaign.

By establishing our baseline carbon emissions, we have charted the course for our reduction pathway to halve our emissions before 2030. Our Net Zero Action Plan sets out what we need to do to turn this ambition into action.

We recognise this will not be easy, but we have the end goal firmly in sight.

Our social values and impact

Our purpose? People and planet. The wellbeing of people, as well as the environment, is the paramount focus of our work. Our business is conducted ethically as an employee-owned cooperative, with mutual care for one another, and a deep respect for all those we work with.

We’ve committed to operate in line with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact in respect of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and have integrated the Sustainable Development Goals into the core functions of our business.

Impact Report

This report celebrates our achievements over the past year, shaped by our commitment to deliver for people and planet. This includes progress on emissions reduction, team development and wellbeing initiatives, and giving back to our communities through volunteer work.

Net Zero Action Plan

We launched our Net Zero Action Plan in December 2022, setting the course for change within our own organization and supply chain. This plan commits us to halving our greenhouse gas emissions before 2030, achieving Net Zero by 2050, and disclosing our progress annually.

“We are proud to be recognised by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign, and join governments, businesses, cities, regions, and universities around the world that share the same mission. Our roots in developing humanitarian technology mean that this is something we feel very strongly about and will commit ourselves to fully.”
