Made in the UK, Sold to the World Awards 2024
Dulas has been awarded ‘highly commended’ status by the Department of Business and Trade (DBT) in its Made in the UK, Sold to the World Awards campaign. The awards have been created to celebrate the global trading success of small businesses across the UK and showcase the impact of UK-made products on a global scale. Dulas was one of only three companies to achieve the ‘highly commended’ status in the healthcare category.
Export market success story
Dulas has been exporting its pioneering solar-powered vaccine refrigerators to countries across the globe for over 40 years. They form part of the cold chain infrastructure vital to immunisation programmes in developing countries across the world, improving the lives of millions of children. Dulas vaccine refrigerators are PQS accredited which means that our customers can rely on their performance, quality and safety. They are the only WHO accredited refrigerators manufactured in the UK and each year we export thousands around the globe. Already in 2024, we have sent shipments of cold chain equipment to South Sudan, Kenya, Guinea and Burkina Faso.
We are proud that our refrigerators are made in the UK at our manufacturing facility in Bognor Regis. Manufacturing in the UK is something we remain firmly committed to, because it helps to limit our carbon impact on the planet, as well as bringing jobs, skills and opportunities to the local community.
