Dulas is celebrating after being longlisted for the UK’s longest running and most prestigious awards programme, championing responsible business in the UK and abroad. It has also been shortlisted for the Welsh Government Responsible SME of the Year award.

The Awards recognise the most inspiring businesses who are making a difference by taking action to build more inclusive workplaces, stronger communities and tackle our biggest environmental challenges.

Today’s announcement coincides with Responsible Business Week (23-27 April) an annual initiative aimed at increasing awareness of the positive contribution of businesses to society.

Global Development

Dulas has been Longlisted for the Unilever Global Development Award for businesses that demonstrate a significant contribution towards the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. Dulas’ Solar International team is a leading supplier of specialist refrigerators, helping around 20 million people in the developing work access reliable healthcare and contributing to a reduction in mortality rates for children under the age of five by 50%.

The winners of all ten categories, including the Responsible Business of the Year will be announced at the Responsible Business Gala Dinner at the Royal Albert Hall on 3 July, in front of 1,200 business leaders. The headline sponsors of the 2018 Responsible Business Awards are Barclays, Fujitsu, Unilever, Unipart, UPS, and Hogan Lovells as well as Anglian Water, the winner of the 2017 Responsible Business of the Year.
