Dulas and the Sustainable Development Goals

2025 was a year of change and growth for Dulas, with new projects, partnerships and innovations shaping the way forward. But at the heart of everything we do is a simple ambition – to make a positive impact for people and the planet.

That’s why the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) remain central to our mission. In our latest Impact Report, we identified the three goals where Dulas can make the most meaningful contributions.

As we close in on Global Goals Week, we’re thinking about how these SDGs continue to guide our work across our divisions:

Good Health and Well-being

Health is a thread that runs through much of what we do. Our Life Sciences division manufactures temperature controlled equipment that supports research and helps save lives – from vaccine refrigerators used in some of the world’s most remote regions, to cooled incubators supporting cutting-edge scientific discovery.

By ensuring vaccines, medicines and research tools are available where they’re needed most, we’re directly contributing to better global health outcomes.

Affordable and Clean Energy

Through our Renewables division, we are committed to securing clean, affordable, and reliable energy for communities across the UK and beyond. With over 40 years of expertise in wind, solar and hydro, we help developers, local governments and communities harness renewable energy responsibly.

Each project is shaped not only by energy needs, but also by careful consideration of wildlife, habitats and ecosystems – ensuring that the transition to net zero also supports the natural environment.

Responsible Consumption and Production

At Polestar Cooling, our manufacturing facility and part of the Dulas group of companies, we design products that last. Durability and efficiency are central to our approach, ensuring that every piece of equipment we produce delivers maximum value with minimum environmental cost.

In 2025, we’re strengthening this commitment by developing a Sustainable Procurement Policy, engaging our suppliers more deeply on net zero goals, and preparing for our EcoVadis sustainability scorecard, which will provide transparent evidence of our progress.

By focusing on these three SDGs – Good Health and Well-being, Affordable and Clean Energy, and Responsible Consumption and Production – Dulas is proud to play a role in tackling some of the world’s most urgent challenges.
