Where it began
Dulas has pioneered renewable energy solutions for over 40 years, leading innovations in solar, hydro, and wind power across the UK and worldwide. Founded in 1982 at the Centre for Alternative Technology, we developed the world’s first mass-produced solar vaccine refrigerators and blood banks, enhancing medical care in developing regions. In 1988, we became an independent, employee-owned company. Today Dulas remains synonymous with trust, quality, and expertise, delivering practical renewable energy solutions and temperature-controlled equipment.
Our people
Now employing nearly 100 professionals across Wales, England, and Scotland, our dedicated team ranges from expert manufacturers and experienced engineers to renewable energy service developers who are committed to providing exceptional customer service, and passionate about delivering sustainable solutions.
Our impact
We are always striving to limit our environmental footprint and have a positive impact through what we do. In 2022, we signed up to the UN Race to Zero campaign, with the ambition to halve our emissions before 2030. We are also committed to operating in line with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact in respect of human rights, labour, environment and anticorruption.
This report celebrates our achievements over the past year, shaped by our commitment to deliver for people and planet.
We launched our Net Zero Action Plan in December 2022, setting the course for change within our own organisation and supply chain.
