Save the Children Project

Save the Children and USAID funded a project to install 36 x VC150-2 at hospitals throughout Pakistan. The project aimed to reduce mortality in children under 5 by improving routine immunisation coverage and supporting outreach services by training health workers and supplying essential cold chain equipment.

Working with our in-country partners Grace Solar, the 36 units were transported to war stricken areas in North Pakistan which enabled the life-saving immunisation
programme to take place.

Over the last decade Dulas have installed over 1000 solar powered refrigerators across Pakistan.

Government of Baluchistan Project

The Health Department Government of Baluchistan in Quetta, Pakistan initiated an immunisation programme aimed at delivering solar powered vaccine refrigerators to remote off -grid areas with little or no access to electricity.

Dulas supplied over 300 x VC50SDD solar direct drive vaccine refrigerators which were successfully installed in remote locations. These smaller units were ideal due to their compact size which was easy to transport whilst still having a vaccine storage capacity of over 50 litres.

Project with International NGO

In 2018 Dulas worked with an international NGO to deliver 50 of the VC110SDD vaccine refrigerator to Pakistan for a project to extend and improve immunisation activities throughout the region. The VC110SDD boasts an increased vaccine storage capacity which suited some of the larger health facilities and allowed our client to more easily deliver vaccines to those regions that have traditionally been more difficult to access.

Dulas’s wide range of different capacity refrigerators and combined fridge freezers ensures there is a suitable product to match the requirement of any project.
