Our factory in West Sussex has recently doubled its manufacturing capacity and we have been extremely busy preparing orders for our projects in countries across the globe. As a result, we have recently expanded our warehousing capabilities in Thetford, Norfolk. We have worked with Rowlinson Packaging for over 20 years and they have recently built us a dedicated warehouse to house our new ‘Beyond-ready’ solar powered vaccine refrigerators before they are shipped worldwide. Our new warehouse has the capacity to store double the usual production of our refrigerators. This will mean we have more available stock at our fingertips, enabling us to meet quicker delivery times for our customers.
Rowlinson Packaging is a family-owned business that has been trading since 1966. Andy King, Managing Director at Rowlinson Packaging, commented:
“In the 20 years that we’ve been working with Dulas we have seen them grow from strength to strength and we’re delighted to see them doing so well and to provide dedicated warehousing for their solar powered vaccine refrigerators which help communities all over the world.”
Rowlinson Packaging create bespoke crates to safely store and deliver our refrigerators and solar systems. The wood for the crates is sustainably sourced and specially designed to endure the long journeys, often to the last mile, where they need to be robust in order for our life-saving refrigerators to arrive safely and in good condition.
Earlier this year, Dulas vaccine refrigeration equipment was installed in locations in Madagascar, India, Yemen and Lebanon and more recently orders have been prepared for Ukraine, Mozambique and Trinidad.
Managing Director, Ruth Chapman, commented:
“Rowlinson Packaging has provided us with excellent support and service over the years – their staff are passionate about sustainability, which is why they are such a good fit for Dulas. We source our suppliers carefully and we love that all their timber is responsibly sourced and the energy generated by disposing of their waste goes back into heating their factories and treatment kilns.”
Working together with like-minded organisations like Rowlinson Packaging meets our company pledge to achieve Net Zero by 2050, and our company values which include working towards a more sustainable future.
