Our Products

    • Standard aperture 1.0mm
    • One-piece welded construction with integral endplates (except Type A)
    • All 304 stainless steel (316 available on request)
The multiple screens are designed to be bolted together to make longer screens for larger projects. There are five types of multiple screen models; Type A, Type AB, Type C, Type F and Type K. The Type A and Type AB screens are full height screen with a head loss of 1270mm; the Type A screens have a removable screen panel for applications with very abrasive sediment loads.  All the other screen types are of fully-welded construction.  Type C screens are half height with a head loss of 700mm; the Type F screens are quarter height with a head loss of 450mm.  The Type K screens are double height screens, with a head loss of 1900mm. With the exception of the Type A screens, all the screens can be equipped with boulder protection bars.
  • Single screens are supplied as one-piece fully welded units with integral endplates to help seal at the sides. All have the following standard characteristics:
    • Wedge wire aperture 1.0mm
    • One-piece welded construction with integral endplates
    • All 304 stainless steel (316 available on request)
There are three types of single screen models; type B, D and E. Type B is a full height screen with a head loss of 1270mm; type D is a half height screen with a head loss of 705mm; and type E is a quarter height screen with a headloss of 400mm.
  • Representing rugged Scottish engineering, our tubular met masts are proven to survive the most arduous of on-site conditions, up to a height of 90 metres. These quality, heavy duty masts are assembled by our specialist team in Inverness. They are customised with data loggers and the highest quality instruments to suit each individual client’s requirements, and hot-dip galvanised to give a lifespan of 20+ years. Chillwind met masts are renowned for their ability to stand up to the worst conditions – they’ve been airlifted into environments as inhospitable as the Norwegian tundra and installed on stormy offshore islands.
  • Whilst Coanda screens are typically very low maintenance, for a small number of installations, certain conditions can result in increased cleaning requirements. Depending on the location of the Coanda screen and factors such the flow conditions and the biological component of the water, stubborn debris such as algae and moss can build up slowly over time, creating blockages and reducing abstraction, limiting the effectiveness of the screen and resulting in production losses. Where this happens, adopting a more frequent cleaning regime is recommended. But in locations where access is difficult or complicated by weather conditions or geography, then an automated solution could be considered. In particular, to avoid sole operators working in the water in high flow conditions, or accessing the site during adverse weather. The automatic screen cleaner can offer a useful enhancement to any Health and Safety Management System. Dulas is a reseller and installer of the SSES Automated Screen Cleaner in the UK.
  • The ICE3 is one of the world’s most advanced and reliable remote temperature monitoring device. Integrated within all Dulas refrigerators, the Beyond Ready RTM system allows remote monitoring of the cold chain from any location when the device is switched on. If the temperature varies from the specified range, the system will alert the user via SMS and/or email. All new Dulas refrigerators are 'beyond-ready'.
  • All Dulas refrigerators are fitted with 30 day temperature loggers as standard. The fridge-tag is a high precision temperature data logger for the continuous monitoring of sensitive vaccines. It sits inside the fridge and monitors temperatures.  It automatically triggers an alarm if a critical temperature deviation outside the predefined temperature range is measured. Data can be downloaded locally via the USB.
  • The Dulas Data logger package has been developed to offer our clients the most robust and reliable data collection and communication possible. We design these packages with your mast and your site in mind. This superior Data logger package is developed by our in-house technical team, and manufactured using Campbell, Ammonit and Kintech Data loggers. The package includes high spec weatherproof fixtures, fittings and enclosures. Following a site survey, an assessment of the location and specification will be made by our technical team who will check the compatibility of all the system components, along with a suitable communications system and power supply to suit your logger and instrumentation choice.
  • Lattice towers have the advantage that they can often achieve greater heights than tubular masts and can be climbed and maintained without having to lower the entire mast. Dulas holds relationships with a number of lattice tower suppliers. This enables us to specify the mast product that is right for your site and measurement campaign. Be it a short-term development campaign or a long-term permanent monitoring system – we will have something to fit the bill. We are experienced installers of lattice met masts, and can provide a bespoke measurement system and lifetime service that is suited to your needs, whilst maintaining compliance with IEC 61400-12-1:2017 and MEASNET guidance and standards.
  • We are experts in the design and installation of bespoke remote power systems for long-term operations through long and dark North Atlantic winters. We can supply batteries which are charged with PV or integrate PV with a methanol fuel cell solution. We customise the sizing of the product depending on the job, and provide stable, clean, and quiet back-up power through the use of EFOY brand Direct Methanol Fuel Cell technologies (DMFC), manufactured by SFC. All of our Remote Power Solutions are rigorously tested prior to deployment, and we fully stand by them in the field.
  • Some of our refrigerators are used with a remote temperature monitoring system called Vaccine Guard. Vaccine Guard continues to be supported for existing customers. We no longer supply Vaccine Guard, but here is some helpful information on how it works:
  • The Triton Wind Profiler is a durable, robust, and independent sonic detection and ranging (SoDAR) device used for wind monitoring. Triton captures extensive data on anomalous wind events such as speed and direction shear and turbulence that directly affect wind turbines’ power output – and that could affect a wind farm’s performance. It’s also a suitable complement to noise monitoring campaigns. The Triton requires only 7 W of power for continuous operation. Technology innovations like low-power amplifier chips and the Blackfin ARM enable Triton to be powered by two solar panels and to run continuously without being attended. During winter operations, a fuel cell may be required. Triton captures wind data at heights up to 200 meters, reducing uncertainty inherent in the use of extrapolated data from meteorological towers. Dulas is proud to supply sales and support for Vaisala Tritons in the UK and Ireland.
  • Remote sensing devices are lightweight and easily transportable, they do not require planning permission and can be applied both offshore and onshore to gather wind data from 40m to 300m in height, with up to 20 separate height measurements taken every second. Coupled with Dulas’ robust remote power supply, and in field monitoring services, these LiDAR units can operate reliably in the field for years with regular refuelling and maintenance intervals. Remote sensing devices can be deployed ahead of met masts and in conjunction with them to extend and enhance your data sets. Though it is widely held that terrain in the UK is too complex to allow for LiDAR only measurement campaigns currently. Dulas is proud to be an authorised distributor of Vaisala WindCubes in the UK and Ireland.
